Filmmaker-cum-actor Satish Kaushik has revealed his dream: He is planning to make a sequel of his effective directorial movie from 2003, Tere Naam.
YES!! thats right
The romantic drama showed up Salman Khan in the lead role and introduced Bhumika Chawla to Hindi cinema.
Khan got lots of fame for his acting skill while the hair style he carried in the movie easily got attracted among youths.
There has been reports that Kaushik is preparing to make a sequel of Tere Naam but is a little doubtful about the same.
“My Tweets is filled with (requests for) Tere Naam 2. I have 15 stories in the list provided by individuals for the movie.
I have planned something, but I don’t know if it is great to move on to your old movies,” said Kaushik at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
Kaushik showed up at the Film festival to go to the screening of the movie A Billion Color Story which he has co-produced.
His last directorial project was the Gang of Ghosts in 2014 while he was last seen on the screen in Rohit Dhawan’s Dishoom a few months ago.
The film maker included that the variety of sequels that were out recently have not done well at the box office, probably pointing to Rock On 2 and Tum Bin 2. “Only Kahaani 2 looks exciting, Because it is a different movie in itself.
Sometimes, you have trusted your character in a certain way in the first version but you don’t know which story will drop into work for next,” he said.
Since Kaushik has not declined the opinion of a sequel, another franchise might get included with Khan’s Kitty.
As of now, he will soon begin shooting for two other sequels — Kabir Khan’s TIger Zinda Hai, the sequel to his 2012 action thriller Ek Tha Tiger, and Arbaz Khan’s Dabangg 3, the third sequel of the big hit Dabangg series.
